The course includes twenty units of competency required for minimum qualification as an Access Consultant.

This course is ideal for Building Surveyors who have responsibility for reviewing, planning, designing, managing or maintaining buildings, as well as those who are required to provide advice to others regarding access issues in the built environment.
The key elements of access to buildings, including relevant legislation and Access to Premises Standards are incorporated. The nationally recognised course provides participants with a practical framework and tools for undertaking an access audit of a building.
This course has been specifically adapted for Building Surveyors and candidates must be able to demonstrate Recognised Prior Learning or Credit Transfer for some specific units of competency.
5 days face to face training sessions (delivered via video/teleconference) plus a specified timeframe to complete all assignment materials. Course fees are exempt from GST.
Note: To provide the best possible learning experience, each course requires a minimum of 15 enrolments before it can proceed.
Students are encouraged to enrol as early as possible, as course places are allocated in order of enrolment and payment of the Enrolment deposit.
Access Institute reviews enrolment numbers on an ongoing basis. Once the required minimum enrolment number has been reached, all enrolled students will be advised by email that the course has been confirmed.
